About this Journal

Annals of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (APALM) is an international, peer-reviewed, indexed, open access, online journal with a quick post-acceptance online publication. APALM publishes original, peer-reviewed articles for pathologists and clinical laboratory scientists. APALM maintains high standards of quick peer-review, with an eminent faculty serving on the editorial board and as registered reviewers. This is the first Journal of Pacific Group of e-Journals (PaGe), an online publisher of open access peer-reviewed international journals covering a wide range of academic disciplines.

All efforts are taken at APALM to abide by the Code of Conduct of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and APALM aims to adhere to its Best Practice Guidelines to ensure high-quality scientific publications, public trust in scientific findings so that the authors receive due credit for their ideas.

APALM is a user friendly, open access portal with an ease of navigation and easy submission of manuscript allowing universal access in HTML and PDF format, maximum visibility and free dissemination of published work. APALM aims for a prompt and definite correspondence regarding acceptance or otherwise of the manuscript after a quality peer review.

Aims and Scope

APALM aims to be a specialized journal in the field of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine which, inter alia, includes Histopathology, Cytology, Hematology, Clinical Pathology, Forensic Pathology, Blood Banking, Clinical Bio-Chemistry and Medical Microbiology (Bacteriology, Virology, Mycology, Parasitology), etc.

APALM is in the process of getting included in the leading Indexing and Abstracting Databases and by maintaining high publication standards aims to be indexed in PubMed Central (PMC) Database.
