Article processing charges (APC) are required to meet operations expenses. Being an Open Access Publisher, APALM does not receive payment for subscription as its journals are freely accessible over the internet. The author, institution or funding agency pays a modest fee to help cover the actual cost of the essential final step, the publication.

APALM does not charge article submission fee and color printing charge from the authors. APALM charges a one-time article processing charge (APC) of 80$ (US) for every accepted manuscript. However, as a special gesture to encourage the Indian authors, they will have to pay Rs. 1500 for their manuscript accepted for publication in APALM. This charge covers the entire cost of the publication process, which includes peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining, online hosting and archiving, and allows immediate access to the full text versions of the research articles.

APC are applicable to all the manuscripts submitted to APALM from January 01, 2015 and later. However, the APC is payable only if your article gets accepted for publishing.

WAIVER POLICY

A complete or partial fee waiver may be granted on a case-by-case basis for individual authors or group of authors who do not have funds to cover APC.

For complete or partial fee waiver, request can be mailed to the Editor-in-Chief on the email ID: editor.apalm@pacificejournals.com before submission of a manuscript. The decision of Editor-in-Chief regarding the quantum and extent of waiver shall be final and no further correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.

Editor and reviewers shall have no access to author payment information and inability to pay and therefore will not influence the decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the manuscript. Request for waiver of APC for manuscript, that have already gone through the peer review or been type set, will not be granted.
