Article Processing Charge (APC)

At the Pacific Group of e-Journals (PaGe), we are committed to providing open access to high-quality research without any subscription barriers. As part of this model, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is levied to cover the costs associated with the editorial and publication process.

Why APC? As an open-access publisher, we do not charge for subscriptions or online access. The APC helps us maintain a sustainable model, ensuring that the research is freely accessible to all while covering the necessary operational costs. This ensures that valuable research reaches the global academic community without restrictions.

What Does the APC Cover? The APC covers all stages of publication, including:

  • Rigorous peer review by experts in the field
  • Professional editing and formatting
  • Online hosting and long-term archiving
  • Assignment of Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) for each article
  • Indexing and listing services to enhance visibility

No Hidden Fees We believe in transparency, and thus, we do not charge for:

  • Submitting an article
  • Color figures or images
  • Any additional material like supplementary data

When is the APC Charged? The APC is only applicable once an article is accepted for publication. There are no fees associated with the submission process, and payment is required after the successful completion of the peer-review process.

APC Rates The APC varies depending on the journal and the type of article being submitted. We encourage authors to visit the specific journal’s website for detailed information on the APC.

Discounts and Waivers To support global research, PaGe offers discounts and waivers on APCs for authors from low- and middle-income countries. Eligibility is based on the author’s country of residence and is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

If you have any questions about the APC or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
