Cancellation, Refund, and Return Policy
At Pacific Group of e-Journals (PaGe), we strive to maintain the highest standards of transparency and fairness in our editorial and publication processes. This policy outlines the terms regarding the cancellation of submissions, refunds for processing charges, and the return of services.
1. Cancellation Policy (Article Withdrawal)
Authors may request to cancel their submission (withdraw their manuscript) at any stage of the editorial process subject to the following conditions:
- Pre-Review Stage: Authors can withdraw their manuscript without any penalty or charge before it has been sent for peer review.
- During Peer Review: Withdrawal after the peer-review process has commenced is strongly discouraged and will only be accepted for significant scientific reasons (e.g., discovery of errors or flaws).
- Post-Acceptance: Once an article has been accepted for publication, withdrawal is considered unethical under standard COPE guidelines.
- Request Process: To request a cancellation/withdrawal, a formal request signed by all authors must be sent to the Editorial Office of the respective journal.
2. Refund Policy
Our refund policy regarding Article Processing Charges (APC) is as follows:
- Non-Refundable: As per our General Policies, if the APC has been paid for an article that has already been accepted for publication, this charge shall not be refunded in any case.
- Service Delivery: The APC is levied to cover the costs of the peer-review process, professional editing, formatting, and online hosting. Once these services have been initiated or completed upon acceptance, the fee is considered earned.
- Duplicate Payments: In the event of an accidental duplicate payment or a technical error in the transaction, the excess amount will be refunded to the original payment source within 7–10 working days.
3. Return Policy
- Digital Services: As a provider of digital scholarly publishing services, the concept of a physical “return” does not apply. There are no physical goods to be returned.
- Content Replacement: If an error is discovered in a published article by the authors, we follow our “Article Replacement” policy to issue a formal correction (Erratum/Corrigendum) or, in extreme cases, a retraction.
4. Dispute Resolution
If you have any questions or concerns regarding a payment or wish to dispute a transaction, please contact us immediately:
- Email: contactus@pacificejournals.com
- Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India at Delhi.
